Launch of Putting a Livelihood Perspective into Practice: a Systemic Approach to Rural Development
The publication "Putting a Livelihood Perspective into Practice: a Systemic Approach to Rural Development" (SARD) was officially launched at SDC Bern on February 11th, 2009. Presentations of the approach and practical experience in its use were followed by a presentation Pio Wennubst, deputy permanent representative of the Swiss mission to the Rome-based UN agencies, on "Food Security as a systemic link between global markets and local production".
